ACEINNA is looking for an Engineering Manager with superb technical skills looking to lead a growing and highly motivated team of systems design engineers, software engineers and Contractor/ Consultants in a fast paced, self- driven environment. The ideal candidate has the passion and leadership skills to help build and to be a part of a growing software and systems engineering team. This position is located in Wuxi China and requires travel to and from the United States as needed.

• Responsible for full life-cycle development of complex, high-speed hardware and software designs serving multiple markets, including inertial navigation systems using accelerometers and gyro sensors as well as embedded computing using ARM processors. 
• A “hands on” manager who is proficient in leading a team in the integration of inertial sensors, modules and embedded software to develop a subsystem inertial navigation solution for commercial aircraft applications. 
• Proven track record of successfully completing projects on time and within budget.
• Provide all work direction, interface with customers for detailed requirements definition. 
• Allocate resources among conflicting priorities, create customer proposals, and provide oversight and direction for all projects
• Must be a strong technical leader and able to assign projects based on skill sets and availability, provide long range planning, manage cost and timing delivery, and juggle work priorities among full time and contract personnel.
• Will often need to be a player/coach, and must be able to provide detailed troubleshooting assistance and fully understand work design requirements during proposal generation. 
• Must be able to manage experienced, self-motivated engineering staff, providing a balance between empowerment and direction. 
• Will play an active role in customer proposal generation, requirements planning, customer expectation management, solution delivery, and problem resolution.
• Manages team of Engineers. 
• Must possess strong leadership and motivational skills. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, decision-making and analytical skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure individually and as part of a team. 
• Monitoring team’s performance to ensure they meet daily goals, verifying individual performance.
• Coaching team members to improve performance. 
• Leading and attending scheduled training programs. 
• Identifying individual shortcomings of team members and helping them through customized coaching.
• Reporting team development and activities to high-level managers or human resources.
• Hiring and promoting team members.
• Helping with customer service, and submitting ideas to increase productivity of his/her team, among

• BSEE or IE required; advanced degree desired
• 10+ years managing engineering staff, design projects, and customers
• Experience interfacing directly with customers for requirements definition and with manufacturing for pilot through high volume production builds
• Demonstrated understanding of sound product development lifecycle methodologies
• Deep understanding of inertial navigations 
• Experience with project management tools, and ability to keep projects on
• Time/budget plans, initiate monthly billings, and manage limited resources for maximum gain.
